PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, Silent Auction is coming to PACK EXPO Southeast to support packaging and processing education. Proceeds from this event will directly benefit the PMMI Foundation’s mission to drive positive change, growth, and sustainability within our industry. By supporting the next generation workforce, the PMMI Foundation aims to foster a pipeline of skilled professionals equipped to tackle tomorrow's challenges.
Studies predict more than two million American manufacturing workers shortage by 2028. PMMI is committed to addressing this critical shortage by raising awareness of promising careers in the packaging and processing industry, providing assistance, and fostering partnerships with schools and programs that prepare people for these essential roles. In 2024 alone, the PMMI Foundation impacted over 17,000 students through programs such as academic scholarships, travel assistance to industry trade shows, and program donation support.
